    IMPORTANT NOTES and INFORMATION - Please Read Before Ordering

  • All Awnings products are custom made based upon specific and unique selections. As a result, Awnings does NOT offer product returns or refunds after the initial 72-hour time of order placement.
  • Awning measurements, accuracy and installation is the customer's responsibility.
  • Only defective units or units damaged during freight shipment will be exchanged. Please verify that your selections are correct, and your measurements and options are accurate before and when placing an order.
  • SHIPPING CHARGES will be required for all Shady Canopy Products and for all orders delivered to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico and Canada. Please call for additional shipping charges. We reserve the right to decline international transactions and orders.
  • Damaged freight (i.e. crushed or torn boxes, broken or torn awning materials) must be documented with the freight carrier at the time of delivery. Failure to report damaged packages to the freight carrier at the time of delivery will eliminate the possibility of customer reimbursement for products damaged during shipment.
  • Damaged packages or defective products must be reported to Awnings.com immediately and prior to returning.
  • All Awnings.com canvas and metal awnings do NOT carry Wind-Load ratings.
  • Damages caused by extreme weather (wind, rain, snow, etc.), acts of nature (earthquake, flood, tornado, etc.), misuse or negligence are NOT covered by the warranty and are the customer's responsibility.
  • Only Awnings.com stationary metal awnings are suitable for snow-loads up to 50lbs. per square foot.
  • All products showcased online are manufactured to Awnings.com standard practices; we reserve the right to substitute component parts as deemed necessary to fulfill any order.
  • All height and projection measurements are approximate.
  • Fabric or metal color selection is the customer's responsibility. NOTE: We have tried to provide accurate representation of the available fabric and metal colors. Due to computer, monitor and/or video graphic card configurations, there may be some degree of variance between the actual fabric colors and the swatches displayed online.
  • Valance binding trim and thread will be standard complimenting colors.
  • Fabric seams joining fabric panels are sewn in a vertical orientation.
  • Frame members are painted and color selection is determined by Awnings.com. Some frame parts and hardware may not be painted.

    We are an Internet e-commerce site and do not have local representation for field measuring, onsite visits and installations. All products are showcased online.

    Do you provide installation services?

    We are an Internet e-commerce site and do not offer installation services. If installation assistance is required, we recommend contacting a local contractor or local handyman for assistance.

    Are fabric and metal samples available?

    YES. Fabric and metal samples are available on a limited basis. All color samples will be sent via U.S. Mail while supplies last.

    All fabric or metal color selection is the customer's responsibility.

    NOTE: We have tried to provide accurate representation of the available fabric and metal colors. Due to computer, video card and printer configurations beyond our control, there may be some degree of variance between the actual colors and the swatches displayed on monitors. We recommend receiving swatch samples prior to ordering.

    What outdoor fabrics do you offer?

    We use Sunbrella Awning fabric on most products posted on Awnings.com.

    However, we also offer outdoor fabrics by the cut yardage to include, but not limited to Sunbrella Awning/Marine, Sunbrella Furniture, Firesist Flame Fetardant fabrics by Glen Raven, Sattler Awning and Marine fabrics, Sattler Furniture fabric, Firemaster Plus flame retardant fabric by Sattler, Outdura Awning and Marine fabrics, Ferrari Textiles, Coolaroo, and much more.     How do I order a specific width?

    We can custom-cut the awning width to 1-inch increments. For pricing and ordering purposes, simply select the next largest size and indicate the exact width measurement in the “Comments Section” during the checkout process. Once an order is received, our staff will make the necessary arrangements for your custom order.

    All CheapAwnings products are custom-made based upon specific and unique selections. As a result, CheapAwnings does not offer product returns or refunds after the initial 3-day Cancellation Period. Only defective or damaged units will be exchanged. (See Limits of Liability) Please verify that your selections are correct, and your measurements and options are accurate before and when placing an order.

    Are the awnings suitable for wind and/or snow loads?

    Currently, none of the awnings posted on Awnings.com are engineered to withstand wind or snow loads. However, we can custom design and fabricate any awning to meet engineering calculations. Please contact us for more details and a free quote.

    Can the awnings and canopies be customized?

    Yes. We have the ability to custom design and build any awning or canopy to meet your specifications no matter how large or small, and regardless of shape, size, quantity and/or color.     ONLY California and Nevada residences must pay state sales tax to Awnings.com. Sales tax will be added during the checkout process.

    How much is shipping?

    MOST Awnings.com products will ship for FREE to any of the 48 contiguous United States. Shipping Charges will be required for all Shady Canopy products and for all orders delivered to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories of Guam and Puerto Rico and Canada. Please contact our Sales Department for shipping quotes and estimates. We reserve the right to decline international transactions and orders.

    How will my order be shipped?

    ALL Awnings.com products will be shipped for FREE to any of the 48 contiguous United States via Ground Delivery or Common Carrier Freight Services. Type of delivery is determined by the size and quantity of your order. Typically, items over eight-foot long will be shipped via Common Carrier and may require a fork-lift. Special shipping arrangements and additional costs will be required for all Shady Canopy products and deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories and Canada. We reserve the right to decline international transactions and orders.

    What if my shipment arrives damaged or defective?

    All Awnings.com products are shipped FOB Origin. FOB (Free-On-Board) Origin means that Awnings.com pays all freight charges, the Buyer owns the goods while in transit, and the Buyer files any damage claims. Title passes to the Buyer at the moment the goods are transferred from the manufacturer to the carrier. The Buyer must file any claim (as the owner of freight) for any damaged incurred en route to the destination.

    BEFORE signing any shipment documents, customers are advised to inspect all packages received, and to report ANY product or package damage immediately to the freight company. Please be sure to note damages on the delivery paperwork and contact Awnings.com as soon as possible. Orders with damaged or defective merchandise must be reported to Awnings.com within 5-days of the delivery date of your order.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Damaged freight (e.g. crushed or torn boxes, broken or torn materials) must be documented with the freight carrier at the time of delivery. Failure to report freight damage to the freight carrier at the time of delivery will eliminate the possibility of customer compensation for freight damaged products. Damages due to misuse, carelessness or incorrect installation are NOT covered.

    If a product supplied by Awnings.com is found to contain a manufacturing defect, Awnings.com will replace only the product found to be defective. Because all Awnings.com products are custom made, we do not offer product returns, exchanges or refunds.     What is the Cancellation Policy?

    We have a 3-day (72 hour) Cancellation Policy. All cancellation requests must be made by the customer within 3-days (72 hours) of placing an order.

    All awning and canopy products sold on Awnings.com are custom fabricated based upon specific and unique selections. Cancellations must be authorized in advance. Please contact us for assistance.

    What Is Your Product Warranty Policy?

    Awnings.com is a division of Eide Industries, Inc. All Awnings.com products are covered under manufacturer’s warranty. Please see the product specifications for warranty time frames and details. Please contact us for assistance with warranty issues for products purchased through our website.

    Warranty claims will be reviewed on a pro-rated case-by-case basis. Warranty replacement and shipping fees may apply at the owner's expense. See Limits of Liability and product Features & Specifications for more details.

    Eide Industries, Inc. warrants its products for a period of one (1) year from the date of original product manufacture.* Certain fabrics, materials, and other components used in the fabrication of Eide Industries’ products may carry warranties and prorated warranties of differing lengths provided by their manufacturer(s). In all cases, Eide Industries, Inc. warranties do not exceed one (1) year from the date of original product manufacture. Eide Industries’ warranties specifically exclude product damage or personal injury due to neglect, improper use, improper installation, or improper maintenance and for damage or injury due to acts of nature. We reserve the right to decline international transactions and orders.
